Hi, I've been using a password with a few characters typed while the option key is down. I've never had trouble with this before, but there are a few instances in Tiger when the password is not recognized in the terminal. (trying to use sudo with prebinding)

When I run into an instance changing the password temporarily to something like password seems to overcome this problem in most cases.

Is this a new glitch with Tiger or have I forgot to set something?

It may be that your default Teminal shell in Tiger is different than it was before and is treating special characters differently.
