I dropped my PB and the HD died. I started getting the question mark on boot, and neither DiskWarrior nor Panther's Installer were finding my HD, which meant I couldn't do an archive and install. I installed Panther on my iPod and booted into the machine using target mode. I am now in Panther, trying to mount the internal HD to copy files to the Mini and then probably send the computer in somewhere to get the HD replaced (it makes a terribly clicking noise when it's being accessed, and it's a matter of time before it dies). However, System Profile doesn't detect my internal HD and I don't know how to mount it. How would I force mount the internal HD?

You might want to open it up and make sure the cable is physically attached correctly.
I don't know if laptop drives have a jumper on the drive like with ide's but if that popped off or came loose ...
