Will this be fixed after the combo update?

I click on the Mail Icon and it doesn't boot up.

My Mail was flaky as hell when I upgraded. I re-installed the combo and it's business as usual now. Maybe even trash the prefs file (after making a backup, just in case), and then crank it up. Worth a try.

i had the same problem. some extensions for Mail such as PGP don't run well. Search Google for something like Tiger Mail Crash and you'll find hints on how to remove the extensions if that's your problem.

After getting rid of that all was well ;-)

It's likely an issue with importing old mail. Search the forum for my suggestions on the best way to address it.

Only trying to help somebody out here I assume that before a problem is posted search has been used and most obvious things tried...

Trashing the bundles folder fixed it for me. Googled it, and that's what I found. Once that was in the trash, it loaded all the emails I had in there before the upgrade.
