Am using PowerBook G4 with OS 10.4. The password is accepted for my administrator account (has all my important work folders, diary, database etc), however after hitting the login button all that appears is the usual blue desktop, spotlight icon in top right hand corner, and the mouse cursor (if moved over spotlight icon then the spinning colour wheel). The usual icons and dashboard etc. do not appear.
No problem logging into the other user account (does not have a lot in the way of important folders/data etc.).
Therefore, I really need to access my administrator account as that is where all my work stuff is located.
