I am a new Mac user but my major inconvenience is to switch between windows in the same application. For instance I work with two or three excel files, and I want to quickly switch between the two files without using the mouse. In windows I have that option by pressing alt+tab, however in mac this combination would only work for switching between the applications. It really takes a lot of time to use a mouse when you constantly work with more then one file in the same application. I know I can also use the F9 key and then move right or left, but its still not as fast as a key combination. Would appreciate if you suggest a solution.

thanks jay3ld it solves some problem, but still its not the way I used to do it. It goes in circles in one direction only, if you have more then 2 windows open(something like 5 or 6), then its hard to shuffle all of them. Is there any other way to move in both directions.

You mean you want to switch between windows in reverse as well? If you want to do that, add the shift key to the command tilde keystroke: command+shift+`
