Ok, upgraded 2 machines to Tiger and the network connect function is simply not working. Not only does selecting network from the go menu (or using the shortcut) do absolutely nothing - something which early versions of Panther also did, but my other computer isnt showing up at all despite sharing prefs being correctly set. Its the same which ever way roudn i try it - laptop to desktop and vice versa....so frustrating. Anyone else having this issue?

Can you use the connect to server option? Can you ping? Can you get on the internet?
