Another question, is there a more powerfull version of applescript that can do more than the one that came with 10.3.9 ? Would like to write some stuff and just wanted to know.

Also where is a good site to learn more about AS ?

Upgrade to Tiger and use Automator.

Well, you can get more info from Apple's Developer Connection Site: http://connect.apple.com/ There you can also get Xcode Tools that includes "AppleScript Studio." This will allow you do a better job of programming.

start here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/applescript/

then go here: http://www.macscripter.net/
you have resources, a forum, etc

then, you might want to install Xcode, and create applescript studio apps...

Don't think it's done in one day, applescript is simple but to use it correctly and to the full extent, takes time...
