hello all,

In Tiger (10.4.2), I've edited the international prefs for the date, and you have four options (short, medium, long and full).

(legend: 01 is the day; 04 is the month; 2005 is the year)

My problem is that I wanted the short to be: 01.04.2005
and the medium date exactly the same...

but after pressing OK, the system places my date like this:

short: 2005/04/01
medium: 01.04.2005

That's not good...

You might wonder, ok, the system doesn't allow the same for bothe the short and the medium...
but it does!
If I try to put 2005/04/01 in both, it accepts it and won't change it after the OK...

So, I ended up by plutting 1.04.2005 in the short date and 01.04.2005 in the medium.
But that's not what I wanted...

Anyone knows? is it the separator?
