Hey everybody

Well I'm sitting here with my shiny new 12 inch 'Book and I'm ready to crank up the migration assistant. I've read up on the protocol, but I find it a little bit scary.

Is there anything I need to know? Will the "home" folder on my new Powerbook keep the same name? Or will I be "migrating" the name from the old home folder?

I've got my firewire ready in a holster as soon as someone gives me the go-ahead.

Thanks

It's a piece of cake. Select the things you want transfered and hit start. That's it.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Works like a charm! I migrated eerything over to my new 250GB Lacie firewire 800 drive and booting off that, it transfered everything with ease and now I booth from that directly, not my slow internal drive.
