Hi, I need to delete quicktime (OS 10.4) and do a clean install of it. What's the best way to remove all current quicktime files?

It is not possible to delete QuickTime. QuickTime is an essential part of the system.

The best way to remove all QuickTime files is to reinstall your system.

Err, I don't know if those guys are making fun of you or not, but unlike Windows, you don't need to reinstall the whole damn operating system.

"How to Uninstall QuickTime."

Read the description. See what version you have for what OS. If you're running OS X, there's a link for different uninstall and reinstallers for various versions of QuickTime.

I was told that doesn't work with QuickTime 7 on Tiger. Maybe I heard wrong.
