Hey all,

I use a secondary monitor that is arranged to the left of my powerbook, and I use the powerbook as my main screen. I have all my dashboard widgets set to appear on the powerbook screen (so things don't get screwed up when I take the Powerbook on the road), but they fly in from the upper left corner of the screen, which, in this case, is a full screen away. Flying across both my external screen to my main powerbook screen causes the fly in to be choppy and very frustrating. Is there any way to turn off the "fly in" effect, or change the location the widgets fly in from?

Some sort of script determines where your widgets fly in from. They will fly from the top left if they are nearest the top left of the Powerbook's screen. If your external monitor occupies the space to the left of the Powerbook, then put your widgets closer to the right side of your Powerbook's screen. Then, when you activate Dashboard, they won't fly in from the external monitor.

I hope that's what you mean.

I have some that are all the way over, but they make the entire trip as well. I have my left monitor configured to be higher than my powerbook, which seems to make it sit perfectly in the widget path...
