I'm trying to clean up my family's computer as they, well, don't maintain it. In particular I'm going through their iTunes Library and deleting duplicate and unnecessary files. We have two 20 gig drives on an old G4. What I would like to do is copy about 3 gigs of music from the OS X drive to the older drive that has the rest of their mp3s. However, if I do simply copy them, I'll have to add them again to the Library and recreate their playlists. Is there anyway to copy these files to the other drive and have the copied files replace the originals in the Library without messing up the Library/playlists?
(My apologies if this is should be in the Applications forum. I figured the transfering part is more of a system procedure.)
