I plugged in a third party USB device (three button sony foot pedal) to see if it would work on my mac. A window popped up that said something to the effect of "you plugged in a keyboard, what kind of keyboard is it selection A or B." I randomly selected A (or B it doesn't matter). Well it didn't work.

Now I want my mac to quit thinking it is a keyboard when it is plugged in. Where do I remove that information?

I want to try to map the keys using USB overdrive X.

Thanks
