Can somebody help me.
I recently burned jpg images from my digital camera onto a CD which contained previous images I had burned in the past using my windows laptop. The new images I burnt were done so using a Mac and Toast 6.The probelm is I can only see the new images I burnt using the Mac and the exisitng images are nowhere to be found on the disk.It is as if both the Mac and my laptop can not 'see' the previous images on the disk. Can anybody help me find the old images?

My guess is that your Mac have burned a new disc session with all those images and now you are not able to see the previous one.

What does Toast say if you go to the 'Recorder' menu and do a click in 'Disc Info…' ??

I am just thinking out aloud here-maybe it has something to do with me burning the new images as a 'write session' using Toast6????

OK thanks angelmb-I have had a look at 'disk info' and I can see it recognises a previous session which I am sure are my lost images. It says iso 9660 54mb as info for that session. Now, I wonder how to retrieve those images........I think we may be on the right track

I may have missed it, but have you tried a Windows machine to see if it can see that first session?

You might need what is known as a multisession reader. Back in the days of 60 and 74
minute CD-R discs I used a burner at my former workplace that could do multisession
reads and writes. It ran under OS9 using a special extension that allowed multisession
reading of previous sessions and they showed up as "drives" on the desktop.

You would need something like that to be able to read these I believe.
