My computer is freezing ( I think) while asleep and won't wake up. ie the screen is black, the two green lights on the monitors blik, the mouse is red etc but moving the mouse, using the keyboard unplugging repluging the USB or turning on a firewireHD do not wake it up.

this happend right after my upgrade to 10.3.9 two times, then went away. never a problem before.

its happend about five times recently and its important to me to try to do something if ppossible about it as I have a TV card (Alchemy) and it won't record while frozen.

any suggestions? I try disk first aid, and thats my only idea.

I can't go to 10.4.2 yet as the interface with ALCHEMYDVR is difficult to follow in that version.

thanks mucho

At first glance I had to chuckle. I was going to reply to your thread "Freezing comp: Suggestions" with, why would you want to freeze one?

Ok:

Maybe do a backup, and then Clean Install. This may solve the problem.
