Hi all, I was curious where all the os x icons are located, which folder that is. Is their a particular place for these items found on finder's sidebar or on the desktop?

Each application has a package and the icon file is in the contents of the package..

Budster is thinking apps, not sidebar.

They're located in sysapps. This may not be what you wanted, but Candy bar is a good way to change system-level apps at one go.

Go to Applications > choose Application > Right Click / Control Click > Show Package Contents > Resources > Find the .icns file.
