Anyone know what happened to the Sprint widget?

A couple weeks ago, I stumbled across a Sprint Usage Checker widget. Today I got service through Sprint, and couldn't find the widget! A search on Apple's page, dashboardwidgets.com, and google found nothing except that it had been removed for "safety purposes" (whatever that means.) Anyone got the lowdown?
