My wife uses Yahoo email and whenever she clicks on a email address link on the Safari and it open directly to .mac email application. She doesn't have .mac membership.

My question is how can I change it to open Yahoo directly instead opening up the .mac email?

I dont know if it's possible anyway? Thanks

It's not a ".Mac e-mail application". Mail is a generic e-mail application. You can configure it to send and receive e-mail for any service that allows you POP3 or IMAP access. See the help for Yahoo mail on how to turn on POP3 access and what the settings are. Then create a POP3 account in Mail and enter those settings.

POP3 and IMAP are standard protocols that have nothing to do with Windows. If you have POP3 access to your Yahoo account then Apple Mail works just fine.

POP3 access to Yahoo mail is a premium service, not free.
