I have a Powerbook G4 and am hoping someone can help me out. I have been playing online java games @ pogo.com and a couple of the games require the use of a "right-click" button. As we know the Powerbook only has 1 button, is there a way to emulate the right-click of PC on a Mac?

There are a few different options. The simplest is to just hold down the ctrl key when you click the trackpad. This is the same as right-clicking. You can also use a shareware program to add right-click functionality to the trackpad itself. Sidetrack is generally thought of as the best shareware tool for this purpose.

EDIT: added the part about control-clicking, but Millenium beat me to it

Also, in most cases holding down the Control button and clicking will simulate a right-click.

You can also buy a USB or BlueTooth multi-button mouse and plug that in, giving you right click.

SideTrack is awesome anyway, so you should get that if not to just check it out.

I just started using One Finger Snap which is a little less complex than Sidetrack. So far it works quite well. Getting ready to send in the registration fee.

Sidetrack is the best app in the world. Ever.

And on an unrelated but slightly relevant note, expogesture is great as well.

People are amazed when they see me scroll a web page and go to the previous page with simple movements on the trackpad and no clicks.

definitely give iscroll2 a whirl - it's free, runs flawlessly on my 1.2ghz ibook, and is damn handy. right clicking, two finger scrolling, all good.
