DiskUtility Restore option???

I think I need some ideas here!
I just wanted to restore my system HD to another HD because I realized that I accidently formatted this 160GB HD when it was connected to the internal ATA controller and that's why I only got 120GB capacity...
(I have 4 HDs and 2 were connected to the internal controller, 2 to the Acard PCI card - now all 4 are connected to the Acard)
2 weeks ago I had already done this (that's when I made this error) and the restore option from DiskUtility worked without problems!
Now I can only choose a source HD but the destination option is always greyed out!
Why?????
Any ideas?
(and yes, I know about CarbonCopyCloner)

Try erasing/reformating the destination drive??

The destination is ALWAYS greyed out... try dragging a disk there... it should pop right in. I have no idea why Apple did this.

Yep... I just checked and it works for me... it's greyed out but, you can still drag a hard disk or folder to it.

after erasing/reformating, what size does it show as?? in disk utility you can select the drive and set the size of the partition(s)

Repartition the disk then drag the formatted partition (the indented disk) from the left column into the destination field and it will work.

 Arrrrrrgh, I feel so stupid now!
That's exactly how I did it last time but this time (for some reason) I dragged the disks from the desktop which works for the source volume but NOT for the destination volume...
