Just upgraded to Tiger (yes, yes, I know I'm slow), so 10.4.2.

Having a bit of a problem with getting the clock in the menubar to display as I want it.

It's currently showing "Fri 01:09" when I want it to be showing "Fri 1:09 pm".

International prefs are set for UK, slightly customised - and are showing the formats correctly: "12:34 am" and "4:56 pm".

Date and Time prefs (clock tab) are showing: menubar / digital /day of week. 24-hour clock is off but for some reason the "Show AM/PM" is greyed out.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

Fixed. I'd assumed that the menubar clock uses the short time format and only customised that - customised the other three formats and now it's showing how I want it (and the "Show AM/PM" has become available in the clock prefs).
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.
