Ever since installing the updates to iTunes and Quicktime I can no longer log into GoogleTalk using iChat and Google's Jabber log in procedure. It keep saying SSL error. A friend I chat with is also having the same problem.

Any ideas? I have not read of the problem anywhere.

Not that this will help solve your problem much, but I'm having the same problem as well.

Same...Google did release a new Google Talk today (or yesterday?) and it hasn't worked since then. :/

I'm sure it'll get fixed soon.

I just checked Google's site and they have a banner at the top of the Google Talk help page with following message:

Please note:
There are currently connection issues with the iChat client. We are aware of the problem and are working on it. Please expect a fix in the next few days. Thanks for your patience during our beta period!

So I guess we just have to wait it out.

I'm having the same problem, but I have been having it for a week--it isn't related to the recent Apple upgrades.
