My system specs :
- G5 Dual 2.5
- Raid striped 2 x 250 drives (giving me one 467 GB drive)
- Mac os tiger 10.4.2

Here's my problem
- Computer completely locked up, fans running ultra high
- proceeded to wait 20 mins, still locked
- did a cold shutdown via power button
- boot up, now i get the ? question mark sign on the folder
- proceeded in booting to disk util via mac os tiger dvd
- all disks are greyed out, only status i get is RAID offline

Is there another way to verify/repair disks?
I only had the option to mount, but they wouldn't mount
- no errors of trying to mount were given, the drive icons remained greyed out

Can someone please help me?

You are in serious trouble.
No matter if it's a hardware or a drive structure problem, there is a good chance, your data is lost (unless you happen to have a backup).

So the first thing you'd have to do is run Disk Utility again to check if your harddrives are ok. Select each drive and check the smart status in the bottom of the window. If it says failing, you have a hardware problem and you should replace the failing drive asap.

If Disk Utility says, the smart status is ok (verified), then it's a software problem.

No matter what happens, I would not recommend that you store non-expendable data on a RAID0 (striped). Unless you have a backup somewhere else.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Yup - RAID 0, although fast, is no good when something goes wrong!
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.
