I'm getting ready to sell my eMac. After wiping the HD, is there any way I can use my OS X disk to "re-set" everything so that the original welcome screen comes on when the purchaser turns the eMac on? That way he/she could set the computer up themselves.

Just do a clean install. The next time somebody turns the computer on, it'll display the whole "Welcome! Set up your account now" thing.
