something weird is going on on my boot disk. I think it has something to do with my external hard drive not mounting correctly, but somehow things have been saved under the computer folder, but on my boot drive and I can't see them (about 5 GBs as I was backing up a DVD). Only reason I know whats going on is that when I open a file in Popcorn I can see the folder - named the same as my external hard drive.

Sorry its so confusingly put, I've not really got a clue what's going on!

Oh and now Disk Utility can't repair the external drive...

Going to try DiskWarrior next

I think I've repaired the external drive, and have now deleted (via terminal which was scary) a rogue volume that appeared randomly. Yay have the space back!
