Someone was over the other day and I changed my password and told him the changed one so he wouldn't know my real one. I only have one user on here which is me so it autologs in but I can't get into Flash Professional MX 2004 unless I have my password. Is there a way to retrieve it or a way to transfer my files to a different account or something?
"To reset the administrator password using the Mac OS X disc:
Insert the Mac OS X Install disc and restart the computer.
When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the spinning gear.
When the Installer appears, choose Utilities > Reset Password.
Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password.
Quit the Installer and restart your computer while holding down the mouse button to eject the disc."
If you are running 10.3.x or earlier, you don't have to have the admin password to create a new user. After creating the new admin user, you can use that password to give you rights to change your password.
