I'm looking for a commercial version NTFS read/write driver for Tiger. I have yet to find any. Does anybody know of one?

As far as I know there is no way to write to an ntfs disk, you can only read it. No drivers, or built in support from the Mac OS, will be available until Microsoft wants it to be out which seems like never.

When I want a disk usable by both a mac and PC I just format it fat32 or something.

I believe the built in Mac OS ones can be enabled into a test version that writes also. I think the Linux NTFS write drivers have been finished, so maybe we'll see it in 10.5.

Yeah I got it to write a while back but it flaked out... thus the search for a nice commercial version. There are actually commercial ntfs Linux drivers made by paragon that I use on Fedora as well as the open source ones you talk of. I just can't understand why we would not have any by now

There's a commercial one for Linux where they licensed things from Microsoft. I don't recall the cost - but it was somewhat expensive as I recall. I honestly can't remember if they had a Mac version. (I'd be very surprised - but who knows)
