Is it possible to connect my pb with my dell via an ethernet cable and transfer files to the pb? If not, what other ways are there?

On your PB: Open system preferences, click 'Sharing'.

Start Windows FIle Sharing. Now just use your Dell to connect to your PowerBook as if it were a Windows machine.

I'm still having some trouble, I also tried using this site: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/ma...19/mac_pc.html. Yea, its outdated, but thats what you have to do right?
