I apologize, I couldn't decide whether this belonged in Applications of OS forum, but here it is:

Am I an idiot or do we just all live with this?

I use the open with command quite a bit as I am mostly on a laptop and i don't keep every app I have in the dock for drag and drop. As well, even if it is in the dock, the OS tends to lag a bit when dragging stuff around, so "open with" is usually a more elegant solution for me.

However, when doing this with images, I am always presented with a list a mile long (see screenshot) because of photoshop. I find 99% of those options I will never use and am quite annoyed that Photoshop just decided to put them there. And what are all the .exe's? Are those windows files? You've got to be kidding me!

So has anyone figured out a way to fix this or does everyone just live with it?

The .exe files are located within the following directory:

Applications/Photoshop CS2/Samples/Droplets/

You will find both "ImageReady" and "Photoshop" droplets to which you can either delete, or archive, so that they no longer show up in your contextual menus.
