I checked the man page for top but couldn't find out how to list the entire process name and it's path.For example:top

378 mdimport 0.0% 0:00.67 4 62 55 988K 3.27M 3.30M 40.2M
377 WinSwitchH 0.0% 0:00.27 1 64 117 1.48M 7.31M 4.34M 144M
376 Konfabulat 6.1% 0:20.48 1 68 119 2.86M 8.84M 5.07M- 146M
375 Konfabulat 0.7% 0:03.36 1 67 125 3.01M 8.84M 6.49M 131M
373 HP Communi 0.1% 0:01.35 4 99 76 1.06M 5.44M 3.57M 103M

I want to find out where the HP Communic..... process resides but the text is truncated.Any suggestions as how to achieve this ? Thanks in advance.

ps -wp 373

if that doesn't show you a full path, try

sudo ps -wwep 373

and see if anything in the environment gives you any path information

thanks both commands work.Is there a way to get top to display the path ?
