I accidentally removed the mac os X spring shortcut from the dock.. is there any way to get it back...? is the shortcut stored in finder somewhere?

Go to the Mac OS X page in Safari then drag the icon to the left of the URL (white Apple on grey background) into the Dock.

Except the Apple Store, since their URLs expire.
