I have a PC keyboard on my Mac and I want to swap the Windows Key (acts as command key) with the alt key.

Is there any way to swap the mapping permanently around on those two keys?

Go to the "Keyboard & Mouse" panel in System preferences, select the "Keyboard" tab, click the "Modifier Keys" button and remap the keys. Done.

I just turned off the &*$#*!! caps lock key.
