I have a folder with several thousand images in it, sorted into categories using subfolders. I'm looking for a way to enable 128x128 icon previews for all of the images contained in all these various subfolders, without having to resort to setting the size for "all" Finder windows on my system (since fullsize icons in my other folders are much too large), and without having to go in and manually set the options on every subfolder/category I create within my main images folder.

Is there a way in Tiger to set View Options recursively on a folder? (i.e. the settings for the folder affect all of the subfolders within it?).

Ah what do ya know. I began experimenting with Automator (hadn't yet tried it) and it did the trick. Go Apple!

Was just about to suggest Automator, it's a great little app for doing very repetitive tasks
