I have just reently bought dvd studio pro. It came with 9 dvds. As always, I make backup of the originals. Roxio toast can do the backup and creaate duplicates without any problems, but will take ages to do that as there is only one drive in my Mac.

I also have access to a windows PC that has a Separate DVD ROM and DVD Writer drives. Can I make working duplicates using the windows machine and what software will allow me to do that?

If you can make a straight image with your software, sure, Windows should be fine for it. For example, Roxio's Easy Media Creator includes a Disc Copier app which should do the job fine.
