I just upgraded to Tiger Server last night and am off to a rough start. The biggest problem is my FTP server, namely it's connecting to the wrong machine from the outside world.

I have a static IP through aDSL, so I use no-ip.org to get me a domain. Let's call it fubar.no-ip.net. I also have the updater client which works fine.

My aDSL modem goes to my router first, then hub, then machines. I have ports 21, 22 and 80 open. That should allow people on the outside access to FTP, SSH and httpd. The FTP bit is not working. On my LAN it works fine, but when I try to connect from the outside, it asks for my password. When I give it the password for my account on the server, it rejects it. On a whim I gave it the password for the same account on my G5, which WORKED. So now, when I try to FTP into my server from work, it goes to my G5 instead of my G3 server.

What makes matters worse is that I don't even have FTP enabled on the G5. I've tried restarting both machines, changing the IP entries on my router, and even repairing permissions but it still won't work properly.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a cache somewhere that needs to be flushed or something?

I removed my port entires, rebooted the router and now it works.
Serves me right for getting a crappy router, I suppose.
