About the folder I want to ask:
How can I change my folder icon? I mean that i don't want to look like that blue folder icon, for example I want it to look like a small picture.. how do I do that?
If the solution is a program, a freeware one would be nice.
About the history:
Does Mac OS X has a feature like this? I mean like Windows (XP) has, if u push ctrl+h the history window appears and one can see all the accesed files and aplications.
I have a iMac G5 with Mac OS X 10.3.9
Thanx

This belongs in the MAC OS forum, not the Applications forum.

First you copy the picture (for example open in Preview and do Edit->Copy) then you select the folder and select the Info command from the File menu of the Finder. In the Info dialog click on the folder icon in the very top left (so that it gets a blue outline) and do Edit->Paste to paste the picture.

You have a "Recent Objects" menu in the Apple menu in the menubar. You can use System Preferences->General to determine how many recent objects are remembered there.

If you have downloaded some icons already they are likely to just be folders with the icon applied. Just select the folder with the desired icon in the Finder, do a copy (com-C), then select the target folder/file and get info and paste the new icon as described by TETENAL above.
Almost every app will also have an "Open Recent" menu under its File menu.

Correction, it is "Recent Items" (just to be pedantic)
