I have read like every thread about spotlight indexing...

• I can search in spotlight but spotlight isn’t indexing new files.

• I have tried to repair permissions, restart and so on.

• I downloaded Spotless, just to see wither spotligt indexing was running. It says it runnig.

• I have reindexed spotlight from the terminal but when I get new files after the reindex spotlight doesn’t find it.

• And if I search for an old file and move it to another folder spotlight does’t recognize the move.

• And yes I have waited for more than a day and spotlight still doesn’t find new files.

What is wrong with spotlight.. I want to be able to use it.

I had some issues with Spotlight. I dragged my disk to the privacy pane of Spotlight (to delete the index) and then let Spotlight re-index the drive. That fixed it for me.
