I have a problem with a folder
i have a folder with pictures in it.
I used to be able to view as icons.
about a week ao i have not been able to do so.
Everytime i try and open the forlder in icon view it immediatley closes.
Other folders in the parent folder open in icon view just fine.
i have rebooted several times and tried it with no other apps runing and still have the same issue

maybe you should replace your keyboard!? You seem to be missing alot of keys on it

Other then that I suggest maybe waiting for the folder to completely load and then do the iconview. Maybe repair permissions and/or check your harddrive for errors. Hmm, what else is there ?? Maybe run the periodic tasks if your Mac haven't done so for a while. Or do a clean install of OS X

corrections made.
see what happens when typing late @ night and tired.

I found the problem.
there was 1 file in the folder that was causing the problem.
When i removed the file the folder opened up fine.

the file was so powerful that when i trashed it i could not even open the trash.
i had to permanently delete it from the system

Wow, that was a powerful file. Just in case I would run the "Repair volume" routine of Disk Utility now. There seemed to be something messed up.

I was having a similar issue with multiple folders - they would cause the Finder to freeze upon loading. The only thing that cured the issue was an Archive and Install. So if you've found that there are other folders behaving the same way, proceed to Archive and Install territory.
