I have been trying to play DVD's and I get this error


so wanting to replace the drive anyway I bought an MCE Dual Layer Drive for my PowerBook, but I still get the error. I can do the following;

read/write cd's

write dvd-r

I just cannot read either store bought or homemade DVD's...I erased preferences and reset PMU, NVRAM, PRAM, repaired permissions.

any ideas?

Sounds like if the UDF filesystem plugin is not working.

I'd reinstall Mac OS X.
