Is there a way to make subdirectories inherit their View Properties from the parent directory? I tend to like to put images I work on into their directories based on projects, but each time I create a new folder it's icon size is the system default as well.

Also, while I am at it, is there a way to change the default Finder window size? When I create new folders on the desktop they are a certain size when I double click to open the folders. I'd like to change them.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a workaround: Make a folder that has the settings you like and copy it to all the places where you'd like a new folder. The copies will have the same window settings as the original.

AFAIK, there is no way to chaneg the Finder defaults for just abotu anything. I'd like that as well.
