Hi all,
I have an older PowerMac G4 currently running OS 10.2.2 Jaguar. Can I update to Panther using the 10.3.5 install discs from my iBook G4? Or from my iMac G5 (which also came with 10.3.5 install discs)? Which is better?

Thanks

The proper way to upgrade is to purchase the retail disks.

Well, since I no longer use 10.3.5 on the newer machines (since upgraded to Tiger) I would prefer to be able to use, if possible, the discs I already have to upgrade the PowerMac G4.

Nobody is going to tell you the best way to steal.

Without shelling out for a legal copy for your PowerMac G4, you're on your own.

It never occured to me that using a disc that was legally purchased on a single computer that I own was stealing.
