Is there any specific way I should backup iLife apps before installing Tiger and way to restore?
How do I restore network settings?
Do i need Library folder for any restore activity? I am using Mac mainly for iLife apps, emails, browsing. no graphic work. Biggest app installed is Office 2004.
Cheers,
Ashish

First of all you should always have a backup of your data of course. If you backup your whole home folder (sans ~/Library/Caches maybe) you have all your documents covered.
Second, don't erase your hard disk before updating to Tiger. That's a waste of time. Just do a regular update or an Archive & Install with importing user data and network settings and your documents and settings will not be touched.

I installed Tiger and wants to install iLife 4. I have two Panther disks that came with Powerbook.
I dont get the option to select iLife apps if I run "Install Applications and Classic Support" package.
What do i do?
