Hi, my brother is being tested on something to see if he can get a job or not, and this is the project that he got! He doesn't know where to start, maybe one of you could point us in the right direction:

For your first work assignment, I want you take the generic sourcecode for
the VNC server and client, then I want you to modify it to add SSL
encryption end-to-end. Then document your process and turn it into an
assignment form. It will be used as an assignment for the InfoSec class.

It should take you a week to do.

You probably aren't going to get a whole lot of help on this. I feel like I had a hard time getting a job because people "with experience" that didn't have a clue got jobs over me, a recent college graduate.

But here's a simple tip: instead of looking into rewriting VNC, look to see what it would take to tunnel the existing TCP packets through OpenSSL.
