A strange .cache file is showing up on my Backup drive which I use SuperDuper! to sync with my Powerbook's hard drive. It's in the /Library/Caches/Safari/10/12 folder. It has the little alias arrow by the icon and oddly has a yellow label background on the file name. This file is locked and I cannot delete or do anything with it. I am unable to uncheck the locked option in the Get Info dialogue. This pesky file started causing problems for me the last two nights and is not allowing my SuperDuper! backup finish. Anyone know how to delete this file? I tried Cocktail, but it can't delete alias files. Help!

you can delete it using Applications/Utilities/Terminal for this. open it, and type/paste into:
sudo rm -r ~/Library/Caches/Safari/10/12

hit enter, and you will be asked for your password (your user needs will need admin status). this will delete the folder 10/12 and everything inside it. afterwards i'd suggest you quit terminal, if you have no real experience with it ...

Thanks. I just erased the backup drive and backed up again to it. That did the trick. Props to SuperDuper!'s excellent support.
