How do i hear what is coming in on the line in?? I plugged my xm radio into the line in, so i could hear it through my laptop and i dont get sound! I checked the sound properties in the menu and it shows that music is coming through on the line in but i cant hear it, is there an option or program i have to have running to play what is coming through the line in through the speakers??

Thanks,
Rob

You need some app, as the Finder doesn't have audio features.

You could hit record in Garageband, or QuickTime Player (only if you got QT Pro) and hear it. GB is a bit overkill, so search http://www.macupdate.com for a free audio recording tool.

If you have the Developer Tools installed, you could also use AULab.

Hopefully someone has better advice

J
