My girlfriend got a used powerbook titan from her father this xmas, and since I use pc, I had to fix a network connection between the two.
I can access her mac just fine, but she can't access my pc, and it's DAVES fault.
First she got a dave failed to load something error message at startup, and when trying to connect to me, she got another dave error message, that said that i should run the dave setup wizard, wich also did not work...
I tried installing dave 6 after dragging all files named dave to the recycle bin, but I didn't have a license so that didn't help too much. Then I tried deleting all dave files again, and now the computer doesn't even respond when i press connect under "Connect to server".
How can I clean up this mess, nuke DAVE forever and use Tigers native mac>pc network system?
