Now that the macbook pro (not sure about the name yet but that's another discussion) How is Apple going to stop OSX from being ported/hacked to non apple hardware, or do they care.

I thought I read somewhere early on that they could use some sort of security chip that intel offers to lock out all non-apple hardware.

Thoughts,opinions,concerns?

I'm not sure they will be able to stop it but I don't think it will be a major problem unless someone finds a way to make it easy for the average user. Even if they do manage it, I don't think it will affect Apple because their hardware lineup is looking really good.

It might even do a bit of good if people manage to get it and then purchase ilife or other Apple software or support Mac developers.

I think it could do some good if it is released... nobody is going to use the hacked OS knowing they could be a simple 0.0.1 update away from killing their system.
