Lost Ability to Bluetooth Sync Treo 650 in 10.4.4

Upgraded to 10.4.4 and lost the ability to hotsync my Treo 650. I am able to pair the phone but Bluetooth sync produces an error: Unable to initiate Hotsync operation because the port is in use by another application.

I am using a DBT-120 bluetooth adapter and Missing Sync, and had great success syncing in 10.3.9 and 10.4.3.

Any thoughts? I have read through all posts here, on the Apple website, and on the Missing Sync website.

After much troubleshooting: uninstalling/reinstalling Missing Sync, trashing bluetooth preferences, etc., I can sync via bluetooth by switching the Bluetooth-PDA-Sync off, then on again in the Bluetooth Preferences pane.

There is obviously something wrong with bluetooth in 10.4.4. Anyone experience similar issues?

I also have a T650 - here's a thought ....
Have you tried using the 'HotSync' cable that came with the T650? I upgraded to 10.4.4 yesterday and I have just finished syncing my iCal diary with the phone and uploading VolumeCare 5.15 using the cable - no problems whatsoever.
