When I do a system profiler run and look at the error log, I see this from time to time:

I [11/Jan/2006:16:16:55 -0500] Loaded configuration file "/private/etc/cups/cupsd.conf"
I [11/Jan/2006:16:16:55 -0500] Configured for up to 100 clients.
I [11/Jan/2006:16:16:55 -0500] Allowing up to 100 client connections per host.
I [11/Jan/2006:16:16:55 -0500] Full reload is required.
I [11/Jan/2006:16:17:00 -0500] Full reload complete.

What in the world is that?

Thanks

CUPD is the Common UNIX Printing System: it's basically a standardized way of printing and of writing printer drivers. Mac OS X, as with most flavors of UNIX-like operating systems, uses CUPS to handle printing.
