Hey guys since I got my G5 I've been backing up to DVD's. I want to create a database of the file contained in the DVD's.

For example I have DVD's 1-6. When I search for something I find out in where the item i'm looking for is located(in which DVD).

I tried some thing with Automator and OmniOutliner. I run a automator workflow that retrieves the file names located inside a folder then I can bring that in to OmniOutliner and keep it there. OmniOutliner has a pretty good search so that works out well.

The thing is that the file names I record are recorded like this

HD/Desktop/folder/file.doc

That create a lot of clutter inside OmniOutliner I would like it to be clean.

I would like this in OmniOutliner converted from Finder folders

Folder
-- Folder 2
--- File 1
--- File 2
--- File 3
-- Folder 3
--- File 1
--- File 2

I thought maybe someone that can write better applescript can help me

or maybe there's an app that does this

thanks for you help.
